About Me
I have had many influences and creative opportunities growing up. One of these influences was travel. I was raised in a military family, so I have moved and travelled across the country and even vacationed abroad. Traveling has influenced my creativity since before I made a profession out of art. As a professional artist with a background in studio art, I produce work using a variety of media and subject matter inspirations. While my preferred art forms are drawing and painting, I also have experience in crafting three dimensional sculptures from ceramics and mixed media.
My creative inspiration is not limited to a particular subject matter, but I do like to experiment with the artistic elements such as color, value, and form to create expression in my works. Much of my consistent subject matters include designing characters and settings either in stand alone illustration pieces and sketches or as part of books I write in my down time. I’m also inspired by life and nature and enjoy recreating realistic scenery in my style. Overall, I am a versatile young visual artist with numerous skills which I continue to improve upon and experiment with.
